I cannot help myself. I find this view from my front step endlessly interesting. As is typical on a cold clear morning a bubble of mist rises up off the Lower Falls. Beyond I look across the Hayden Valley to the reefs of mist that have accumulated overnight above the Mud Volcano thermal area eight miles south of the house.
