| Looking Homeward from Five Miles Up River:
If you know where to look in the middle distance between the pile of hills in the middle foreground and the range of mountains in the distance you can see my house. I call the hills the Grizzly Hills East and the mountains the Washburn Range. The sun is within an hour of setting and the temperature is falling rapidly. My only company is scattered herds of buffalo feeding in snow craters. |
