Two spike bull buffalo (coming four year olds) have taken advantage of the hard pack of the snowmobile trail up to the house in their constant search for food. I can push them off the trail but am reluctant to do so since the snow is deep and it unsettles them and causes them to waste energy. In this case I backed off and went and shoveled some roofs. When I came back they had gone off to the side and were feeding in the tree wells in the snow in the nearby timber.
